1040PC Form

What does it mean?
An income tax return that is prepared by computer in a three column "answer-sheet" format. It only prints the bottom line number, dollar amount, and, for most entries, a brief description called a "legend page."

In Other Words...
The 1040PC form can cut the usual 11 page tax return down to just a couple pages. However, the IRS quit accepting this form in 2000, preferring the e-file format instead.
