What does it mean?
Refers to a family in which both partners earn income and have no children.  DINKS are marketing targets for luxury items like expensive automobiles and vacations.

In Other Words...
In other works, DLINKS means plenty of money for couples to live it up and no kids to tend to at five o'clock in the morning.  It could also mean: Sleep till 10:30am Saturdays, followed by a champagne lunch, lobster dinner and whatever pleaseure the weekend has to offer.
